0.1 - Itch Pre-Alpha release

We’re excited to release the very first version (0.1) of our Software Update Simulator — a minimal but functional prototype where you can experience the basics of managing software updates in a simulated environment.
In this early version, you can initiate simulated uploads of updates, watch the progress bar as files transfer, and collect storage units as a form of currency. You can unlock buttons and manage a small set of interactive elements. Additionally, you can keep track of update history with custom version names and changelogs.
What’s in this Early Version?
-
Simulated upload process with randomized file names and sizes
-
Progress bar and status updates reflecting upload stages
-
Storage units earned after updates complete
-
Ability to unlock and manage buttons in the UI using storage units
-
A simple history log tracking update names, sizes, and changelogs
Please note: this is a very early and basic version, so many features are missing or still under development. The interface and mechanics are barebones and serve mostly as a proof of concept.
We Want Your Feedback!
Your input is essential for shaping the future of this simulator. What features do you want to see added? More complexity in update management? New mechanics or challenges? How can the UI be improved?
Feel free to send your feedback, suggestions, or bug reports viacomments.
Thank you for trying out this early build — together, we can build a fun and engaging update simulator experience!
